Internships, Work placements and volunteering

IEA has a number opportunities for people of all ages from any country to spend up to 6 months working on IEA programmes and social enterprises.

We are an international organisation who encourages people from different countries to
volunteer with us.

Countries of volunteers at IEA (so far) include Algeria, Argentina, Ethiopia, Canada, Democratic Republic of Congo, France, Germany, Hungary, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Mauritius, Pakistan, Singapore,
Slovakia, Somalia, Spain, Switzerland, Uganda, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Internships and volunteering
IEA works with a large number of volunteers and work placements to help deliver their projects. If you would like to gain experience of working within a charity or social enterprise, this is the ideal opportunity for you! Although these positions are unpaid, in some circumstances we can
contribute towards your travel and lunch expenses.

Work placements
IEA currently offers work placements (between 1 and 3 months) to unemployed women living in central London who have existing experience in the media industry. If you have experience in photography; digital video production; radio; journalism web design; graphic design or PR and marketing, we would like to hear from you!

You will be required to complete design briefs to a professional standard within our on-line creative social enterprise, Hybridlab. At the end of your placement, we will be able to provide you with a reference and assist you in updating your CV and portfolio.
